That time of the year

Yesterday afternoon, in front of a nice steaming cup of chocolate with cream, ice cream and chocolate cookies, Oreste was thinking about all those Christmas traditions she is telling you about through the worldwide map trip.
Savouring a delicious meringue, she was surprised that she hadn't yet asked you about YOUR traditions!
She knows that the ones she describes to you on the map are so far. She had to select just a few, the most common and well-known ones. There would be millions of them!
But she is curious to know yours, the ones that characterize your Christmas, that make it special and unique.
For example, Oreste's traditions are to reunite and share The Carrot, one bite each, with his family, before leaving with Santa Claus to bring presents.
Only one small piece is left, the head of the Carrot, which is planted for the following year. It is a symbol of sharing and rebirth.
Each reindeer family has its own Carrot and decorates it before eating it.
Here's Oreste and her cousin they made for this year:

What about you? What do you do that is special during this time of the year? Do you have any little or big traditions?

Oreste would be thrilled to find out if you would like to tell her, maybe even with some photos. She is bored to death, not knowing what to do now that she is back from vacation (she will have to work soon, needs to be ready for The Magic Night)!
If you want, write her a message or an email!

Useless advice

Carrots are good for the eyes, if eaten.

Silent Night

The same old Christmas comedy that starts with the classic holiday dinner among old friends and ends...in an apocalypse!
If anyone is tired of the usual love-light-happy ending film and wishes for something more tragic and paradoxical, here is the perfect black comedy. A bit absurd, in which everything happens that you do not imagine: end of the world, imminent destruction, deadly toast.
All this catastrophe on Netflix.
