You know that what Oreste prefers most is to eat. Whatever type of dish or dessert you offer her, she will not be able to resist and will taste it (and most likely eat it all and want more)!
This is why she has insisted on sharing recipes from around the world with you...have you tried one yet? Was it good?
Oreste's sisters made pönnukökur, and they came out so delicious! Crispy and soft at the same time, not too sweet and with a slight cinnamon flavour...they have finished right away!
What a delicious idea she had!
Today, though, she decided it was her turn to cook.
Let's just say she didn't really "decide": you should know that Orestealso has her own advent calendar that she does with his family, and there are challenges, curses and...making breakfasts.
And today, it's her turn.
So why not share the recipe with you?
It's a very simple recipe with a few ingredients, Oreste tasted it in Ukrain, but it's a guaranteed delight.
We need:
Beat one egg yolk with a pinch of salt in a bowl.
Add the ricotta cheese (if it is too wet, wring it out in a dishtowel before starting the recipe) and mix until a smooth cream forms, at which point add the flour. The mixture should be firm, so you can form patties to flatten or a roll to cut into slices, 10/15 or so.
Bread the pancakes with flour, and pass them in a pan with butter or seed oil, turning them when they are golden brown.
Serve with berries, jam, smetana or Greek yogurt.
Mouthwatering!

Have a delicious day!

A film that gets inside you and opens a window on boundless landscapes, taking your breath away and making you breathe deeply.

“And there is hope on the road. It’s a by-product of forward momentum. A sense of opportunity, as wide as the country itself. A bone-deep conviction that something better will come.”
