Made with Love

Have you seen how many new and different things?

Oreste is very excited, especially about the MAP!

And she especially wanted to thank you.
She was thinking about it last night, reading the newspaper in front of the fireplace, and she was so delighted with what we are doing.
Because, she thought two days ago, as she rolled down a snowy slope becoming a giant snowball, that all this is possible thanks to you.
That you read, listen, think, dance and sing along with our dear reindeer.

On the phone last year, she said, while making a face mask before going to sleep, she was worried that a virtual calendar would be cold and distant.

But it wasn't.
We received so much love and so much satisfaction.
Thank you.
Thank you truly from the bottom of our hearts.

Here is an animated short film in which we have partly found ourselves, without doing it on purpose.
It talks about Ωreste and how we experienced him: little surprises, unexpected exchange of affection, sweetness.
When you do something you like and do it for someone, isn't that a wonderful thing?
Isn't this what Christmas is all about?

And what is Ωreste to you? What was it?

If you’d like to share with us, write to Oreste (you can go to her Post Office).
It can be a word, a drawing, a thought, a story... whatever you want!

Thank you 🤍

Single All The Way

Like every Christmas, Peter comes home...alone! And his family gives him a hard time about it.
However, this year, he decides to ask his best friend to pretend to be his boyfriend to avoid judgment and endless questions.
But when his mom sets him up on a blind date with his handsome instructor...everything falls apart.
The snow-and-love-everywhere comedy we've been waiting for, to laugh and fall in love amidst Christmas lights and snowflakes.
The real question is: is it so necessary to pretend to have a boyfriend, or would it be enough for others to simply stop asking and judging?
Today, on Netflix.

Before the Coffee Gets Cold

by Toshikazu Kawaguchi, Picador, 2019

"But Kazu still goes on believing that, no matter what difficulties people face, they will always have the strength to overcome them. It just takes heart. And if the chair can change someone’s heart, it clearly has its purpose.
But with her cool expression, she will just say, ‘Drink the coffee before it gets cold."

Who hasn't had regrets? We all have that "why didn't I do that?" that comes up every now and then. There is a special coffee shop in Japan where you can time travel to fix that bitterly missed opportunity by ordering a coffee.
But there are some rules. The first and most important one is that you must return to the present before the coffee gets cold.
Would you accept the challenge? Because Fumiko, Kotake, Hirai, Kei came in and ordered their coffee, and their lives have never been the same.
