Snow Eater

Has it snowed there?

Where Oreste lives, there is snow almost all year, but she is thrilled when it snows in other parts of the world. For her, snow is joy and light-heartedness, guaranteed fun, and a yummy snack with friends.
Everything is paused, and she loves breaks (especially snack breaks).
Yesterday she challenged herself and her siblings to a fun game: Snow Eater.
It's one of our dear reindeer's favourite games.
With your nose up, you try to catch as many snowflakes as you can with your tongue. Whoever eats the most wins! And as a prize a nice cup of hot chocolate with cookies and ice cream.

And who do you think won? She ate 3759 of them!

Oreste was like this pretty much all afternoon:

imp

With this cheerful spirit, she wanted to propose you to: build a Christmas Cracker!
Don't know what it is? Try to see where our dear reindeer is today on the map to find out.

All you need is some finished rolls of toilet paper, wrapping paper, scotch tape, candy and some coloured ribbons!
A great idea for Christmas fun.

Let's get started!

Here are Oreste's:

If you want to show her yours, send her a picture!

Sparkling kisses 🤍

Useless advice

Have a snack.

Home sweet home alone

Max accidentally stays home alone after his family leaves for Tokyo, forgetting him in the garage where he's been hiding.
And by mistake, Jeff and his wife think that he is the one who stole a precious object from them. So they decide to break into Max's house and take it back. But the boy will indeed not be found unprepared.
A comedy full of misunderstandings and anti-ladro traps.
Will this movie be better than the original?
To find out, Disney+.

Auntie Mame

by Dennis Patrick, Crown, 1955

Darling,
my unscrupulous nephew Patrick has written a scurrilous book about me. It's full of lies. He says I was caught nude in a Princeton dormitory. It's not so! It was Yale. I'm going to sue Patrick. I'm going to sue the publisher. And, if you sell a single, I'm going to sue you.
Love, love, love.
Mame.

How about throwing back to the 1920s?
Upon the sudden death of his father, Patrick is entrusted to his aunt, a rich and eccentric New York woman, Mame Dennis.
A series of hilarious stories, told by his nephew, see the boy and his relationship with his aunt grow. She's a bubbly and unconventional figure who will make him live daring and crazy adventures.
Engaging reading for those who want to lose themselves in the atmosphere of Classic American cinema.
